The concept of Open Source has been well established and has quite strong culture around its ideas. I'm not sure I am qualified to be the best spokesperson for Open Source, but I have tremendous respect for it.
I'm introducing an idea of "Open Share", to be perhaps a more broad and more relaxed variant: There are many licenses that allow a person to publish their code so that it may be seen and learned from, without necessarily licensing it to be used directly. We want to include these non-Open-Source licenses as well, as our objective is as much learning how, as providing ready-to-use solutions.
